Dreamy. Beautiful. Sanctuary. These are just a few words used to describe this custom created Misty Mountain Wallpaper for an episode of Cityline. Celebrity designer, Nike Onile, creates this bedroom makeover virtually, using my custom mural, for a very deserving essential worker and mom-to-be during the COVID pandemic. “I knew that I had to contact my friend Adrienne from About Murals and we designed this custom wallpaper that looks so incredible in the space. It was of clouds and a mountainscape, and its like an instant mood changer. You walk into the room and it’s surrounding you…it makes you do [takes deep breath]. The Design Vision…Virtually!
Norine explains to Nike, during their virtual consultation, that she has a lot of fond memories of things on the wall during her childhood. She wants to create the same memories for her baby-to-be. With that vision in mind, Nike finds four high resolution photos of nature and asks if I can turn them into custom wallpaper. With a bit of tweaking and a black and white filter, we create this dreamy wallpaper for all four walls of the bedroom.
Wallpaper Installation
I always feel confident that my DIY customers can easily hang the wallpaper murals I sell. But this project calls for a professional wallpaper installer! The grey cloud wallpaper is on all four walls, so is cut into inside and outside corners, around several doors, windows and outlets. And with this particular design (unlike most that I sell on my website), the seams need to be double cut to make them invisible.

All of the wallpaper I sell, whether it’s custom or in-stock, is eco-friendly. There are no harsh chemicals, VOCs or vinyl off-gassing, so when Norine and her baby look at this nature wallpaper and take a deep breath, they will only smell fresh, clean air.
