1. Use a Stock Photo When Creating Your Own Wallpaper
When creating your own wallpaper like Nike, you need an image to print, right? This can be a high resolution photo (like the one above), your own piece of artwork (that we scan for you) or a graphically designed illustration.
For this episode of Cityline, Nike finds and purchases the right to use two landscape photographs from iStock. Both are:
- A minimum of 20MB in size, so they are crisp and clear when printed in large scale.
- Horizontal orientation to fit her wide walls.
2. Purchase Your Custom Wallpaper
Now you need wallpaper to print your image onto!
Just measure the width and height of your wall and enter them on the order page. Ideally the wallpaper size is a couple inches larger than your wall to trim off during installation, to allow for unlevel walls.
3. Install Wallpaper
Once you receive your custom made mural, you need to get it up on the wall. You can follow our video tutorial teaching you how to hang wallpaper. Our prepasted wallpaper is one of the easiest types to hang (plus it’s removable and reusable!).
