What Designs Can I Use to Make Dementia Door Wrap?

How to Hang Dementia Friendly Door Wraps

1. Remove the door knob from your door.
2. Roll one coat of Roman 999 Sealer Primer onto your flat door and allow to dry for 24 hours.
3. Then, roll one coat of Roman Pro 880 Wallpaper Adhesive onto your flat door and allow it to dry for one hour.
4. Wet your prepasted wallpaper and apply it to your door.
5. Smooth air bubbles with a sponge smoother.
6. Trim the excess from the sides, top and in the doorknob hole, using an exacto knife.  We recommend trimming and leaving a 1/16″ gap between the wallpaper and the door edges (sides, top and bottom).  If your door is shorter than the standard 83″ height of our wallpaper, simply trim the excess off of the bottom.
7. Use the tips from our How to Hang Tutorial if needed.
8. Reinstall the door knob.

Are Dementia Door Disguise Made of Vinyl?

No, our wallpaper is a non-woven product that is as durable as vinyl but free of toxic chemicals that vinyl contains.

Peel and stick, vinyl and PVC wallcovering can spew toxic VOCs and other harmful chemicals that can cause health and neurological issues.  When removed, it sits in landfills for hundreds of years without degrading.  When it finally does, it leaches into the earth and contaminates our water.

Our wallpaper is made from renewable wood pulp mixed with polyester fibres, making it scuff proof, scratch resistant, washable and easy to hang.  It’s eco-friendly, recyclable and non-toxic.

Can You Order Door Murals in Different Sizes?

A standard door is 36″W x 80″H, so our door wall murals are set up to print in that size.  However, you can order custom wallpaper in any size.  If your door is smaller, simply trim the wallcovering to fit.

Do You Sell Removable Wallpaper for Doors?

Yes, all of our murals are printed on removable door wallpaper.  It lasts for years, but when you’re ready for a change, simply peel the door wallpaper mural off.  It won’t damage the door.

Can You Put Door Wraps on Paneled Doors?

No, our door wallpaper is only suitable for flat doors.

Can You Put Door Wallpaper on Pocket Doors or Elevator Doors?

Yes, as long as the two doors don’t rub against each other, you can put our door murals on pocket or elevator doors in your nursing home.

Fast Delivery Times

Each wallpaper mural is held in-stock, so they ship on the business day your order is received.  Canadian and American customers, your:

• In-stock wallpaper murals arrive in 2-6 business days by courier.  You receive a tracking number.
• Custom wallpaper prints 1-5 business days after we receive your artwork approval, and arrives 2-6 business days after that, by courier.  You receive a tracking number.
• Wallpaper samples may take up to 15 days to arrive, as they are sent via regular mail.

Return Policy

You deserve to love your wallpaper!  If (for any reason) you don’t, return your wallpaper mural for a full 100% refund within 30 days of receiving your package.  The wallpaper must be in its original container, unused and in saleable condition.

You won’t pay any restocking fees when you shop from us!  Just cover the return shipping fees.

Custom wallpaper and wallpaper samples are final sale.
