Celebrity designer, Christian Dare, is tasked with refreshing the Cityline studios for spring. To brighten the television set, he invites muralist Adrienne to paint an abstract mural on the walls.

“Often in decorating, paint is the easiest way to do the biggest update. So this is actually a custom painted mural from our friend Adrienne over at About Murals using all beautiful Benjamin Moore colours…great pops of colours!” says celebrity designer, Christian Dare. (0:30)
Watch the entire episode to see how Christian creates a cohesive look mixing items from Winners, Marshalls and Home Sense with the hand painted wall mural.

Mural Sketch
After discussing Christian’s vision and going through some inspiration online, Adrienne sketches his concept. Every client receives a to-scale sketch for approval before their hand painted wall mural is created. This ensures your satisfaction is met.
Mural Paint
Adrienne only uses non-toxic, VOC free paint for her wall murals to keep your air quality fresh and clean. For Cityline’s abstract mural, it’s important to use a matte finish to avoid glare from the studio lights.
Christian’s vision calls for an organic feel with pops of colour. Something that pulls in the hues of the Fashion Friday wardrobe, textiles and decor.
For this project, she uses Benjamin Moore’s Aura paint in a matte finish in the following colours:
- Caramel Latte 2166-20
- Face Powder CSP-1085
- Chippendale Rosetone HC-58
- Champion Cobalt 2061-20
- Cream Fleece 233
- Simply White OC-117
Abstract Mural
The abstract wall mural is a cohesive backdrop that pulls in the colours from the HomeSense cushions and chair and the hanging wardrobe in the closets.
