About Murals charges by the linear foot.  Simply measure the total width of your walls in feet and enter the quantity above to get an approximate quote.  This price is valid for walls 9’6″ high or less.

Additional fees may apply for paste, double cutting seams, intricate installations, prep work, taller walls and long distance job sites.

How long does it take to put up wallpaper?

Putting up wallpaper can range from a couple of hours to several days depending on the square footage, complexity of the cuts and type of wallpaper you choose.

Do I need to prep walls before the wallpaper contractor arrives?

  • Walls should be free of dust, grease and food splatters before your wallpaper professional arrives.
  • Holes and cracks should be filled with fresh compound and sanded.
  • Wallpaper doesn’t stick to fresh compound or new, unsealed drywall, so an appropriate primer and/or paint should be used.
  • Dark paint may show through light wallpaper, so painting may be required.
  • Usually, primer or paint should cure/dry for at least 21 days.
  • If possible, please remove as many items from the wall as possible, including furniture.
