Every once in a while, I paint something really unique, like this treehouse mural in Ancaster, Ontario.  My very creative client, Lindsey, designed this kids indoor treehouse but didn’t feel confident painting it, so she hired me to turn a white wooden structure into a tree!

Consultation for a Treehouse Mural

This treehouse mural, painted by Adrienne of AboutMurals.ca, features an indoor treehouse in a kids playroom.

After going through a consultation with Lindsey, we realized the issue with her playroom treehouse would be the height of the ceiling.  Hanging fake leaves from the branches would get in the way of the upper level lounge area.

I came up with a design to paint the leaves of the treehouse mural on the ceiling.  She immediately envisioned her daughters laying in the lounge, reading books and looking up at the leaves.  It was a no brainer!

Many of my clients have unique architectural structures that are hard to decorate like bulkheads, slanted ceilings or rounded walls.  Once I see these structures in the consultation, I can actually incorporate them into a hand-painted mural and make them look amazing!

A Perfectionists Touch

Whether my wall murals are being featured on TV or are in your own home, I pride myself on providing a perfectionist’s touch.

I spend hours hand-painting the little lines and dots in the tree trunk and each little leaf on the ceiling.  It’s the little details that make all the difference, especially in this treehouse wall mural.

Non-Toxic Murals

Many of my clients only use the best, eco-friendly, organic products for their kids so they stay healthy.  That’s why I only paint with non-toxic acrylic paint and no VOC latex paint.  Your kids’ air quality won’t be affected when you work with me!

Customize your Kids Mural

One benefit of having a mural painted is that it can be customized just for your space.  You can have your kids’ names or a favourite quote painted.  Or like this treehouse mural, I can match the colour scheme to other dĂ©cor in the room.

Lindsey has blue and green decals throughout the rest of the playroom, so we decided to paint the leaves in green and blue.

As Seen on TV

I’ve been painting kids murals, including this treehouse mural, since 2005 and have been featured on Cityline, the DIY Network and in the Toronto Sun.  I know a thing or two about wall murals.

I work in the Golden Horseshoe area of Ontario, from Toronto to Niagara Falls (and everywhere in between).
