I painted this Paw Patrol mural in Carlisle, Ontario for little Luke…who’s simply obsessed with the heroic dogs who always save the day!  I think the true heroes are Luke’s parents though, for having their son’s wall decorated with characters who portray bravery and compassion.

Keep scrolling for more photos, to learn the benefits of having a hand-painted mural created and to see why you should work with me if you decide you want one.

The Paw Patrol Mural

Although my client Lauren knew her son Luke would go ga-ga over a Paw Patrol mural, some of my clients are a little unsure of the design they’d like, what colours to use or how big to go.  That’s why I offer consultations!

Personalize Kids Murals

One of the benefits of having a hand-painted mural is that it can be personalized, whether that’s adding your child’s name, changing the colours of a character to match the décor or having a favourite quote painted.

In this Paw Patrol mural, I added Luke’s name as clouds above Ryder, Marshall and Zuma.

Turning an Obstacle into a Thing of Beauty

Some of my client’s rooms have awkward bulkheads, slanted ceilings, rounded walls or vents on the walls.  It can be hard to decorate these obstacles and usually the focus is on hiding or minimizing the appearance of these structures, but I can turn them into a fun feature.

In Luke’s mural, I painted Skye flying off of a slanted ceiling.

Paw Patrol Mural Becomes Part of your Family

My clients email me that their kids like to include the characters from my murals into their play, so I paint in places that encourage that.  I’m all about imaginative play!

In this Paw Patrol bedroom, I painted Chase, Rocky and Rubble close to the floor and next to Luke’s bookshelf, so they could keep him company as he plays and reads.

Kids Mural that’s Safe Over a Crib

It’s great to give your baby something interesting to look at when he’s in his crib, but hanging artwork on the wall can be dangerous.  There’s always a risk that it could fall on him.

Having a mural painted completely removes this risk.

In Luke’s Paw Patrol room, I added the tower poking out over his crib.

Non-Toxic Paint

I know it’s important to many parents to use eco-friendly products around their kids.  That’s why I only use non-toxic acrylic paint and no-VOC latex paints in my murals.  Your kids air quality won’t be ruined – promise!

As Seen on TV

Holmes Next Generation star Mike Holmes stands with Adrienne of AboutMurals.ca after she finished painting a mural for the television show

I’m the go-to-mural-girl for celebrity designers and TV personalities like Mike Holmes, Mike Holmes Jr., Sherry Holmes, Colin and Justin, Tracy Moore, Brian Gluckstein, Christian Dare, Leigh-Ann Allaire Perrault and more!  I like to think it’s because I’m a super-detailed-perfectionist and they know they can always count on me to show up and do a great job.  I pride myself on offering this service, not only to them, but to all my clients.

I’ve been painting murals for kids since 2005 all over Ontario – from Toronto to Niagara Falls (and everywhere in between).
